There are various magazines in the UK specific to franchising, but be careful because many of them are not independent and are operated by franchise consultants or other service providers primarily to promote their own services and to collect advertising revenue, with very little genuine content that has not been paid for by advertisers.

Franchisor News magazine does offer interesting articles and is not operated by consultants, and the British Franchise Association website and newsletters give news and updates in particular to members.

Renaming of Franchise Generator to EXB

Franchise Generator was launched in 2009 and now has over 15 franchisor clients. We have recently renamed Franchise Generator to EXB, now that EXB Legal, the separate franchise law firm, no longer trades. Legal documents can instead be drafted and provided through EXB as part of our one-stop service.

Virtual Office

In 2009, Élise Billy and her family moved to the Costa Blanca in Spain as their main residence. Therefore EXB now operates virtually, with each member of the team working from their homes in the UK or Spain. We have invested in new IT systems and can now offer remote video conferencing and presentations, virtual document sharing, Skype and all other forms of remote communication.
