Flexibility

Although Franchise Generator recommends the full package of services to set up your franchise network professionally and quickly, we offer flexibility and can assist you to a lesser extent if required based on an hourly rate. Our full package has been designed to be more cost effective than an hourly rate for the same services and ensures that you have everything that you need to franchise your business. However, if you are already an experienced franchisor then you may prefer to work with us on only certain elements of the set-up.

For established franchisors, we offer various options including outsourcing franchisee management, document management, overhaul of your systems and documents or ongoing support. Contact us to discuss your needs.

One-stop Solution for all your franchising needs

The team at Franchise Generator is managed by specialist franchise consultant and lawyer, Élise Billy. Although operating as a consultancy (and not a regulated law firm), Élise is highly experienced at drafting legal documents. You are welcome to use just our consultancy services (and we will work with your chosen franchise lawyers) or just have the legal documents drafted (working with your chosen franchise consultants).

However, we are in the almost unique position of being able to offer you both services from the same team of people. Élise Billy has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from INSEAD, one of the world's leading internaional business schools, but also has a background as a highly qualified specialist franchise solicitor.

This means that in addition to the consultancy services, the same team can prepare all your legal documents, including confidentiality deeds, deposit agreements, the main franchise agreements and any other legal documents needed.

Joined-up Services

By using Franchise Generator for all services, you can save time and money. You will not have to repeat meetings to explain your business to both your consultant and your lawyer. More importantly, you can be sure that all your documents and systems accurately mirror each other. Too often with separate service providers the legal agreements can set out different obligations, fees or benefits from what the consultant may have planned with the franchisor, or what is contained in the franchisee information pack, prospectus or other marketing material given to franchisees before they sign the legal agreement. This can cause misunderstandings and difficulties with franchisees.

Some consultants say that they provide legal documents, but in fact they are standard precedents that you will then have to pay a lawyer to tailor to your requirements. You need to consider carefully any claim by franchise consultants to be able to provide your legal documents, because unless the consultant is a qualified lawyer, the documents are unlikely to be legally accurate or up-to-date. The team at Franchise Generator use Élise Billy for the legal documents, who was a highly regarded, nationally recognised franchise lawyer at EXB Legal until 2009, when she closed her separate law firm, EXB Legal, and now operates solely through Franchise Generator.
